We now provide RSS feeds for all our adverts
What is an RSS feed?
An RSS feed is a really simple way of keeping up to date with the very latest items on a wide varity of web sites. RSS feeds are also refered to as news feeds.
How do I use RSS feeds?
To use a news or RSS feed, you need a peice of software called a news reader. A news reader checks each of the feeds that you have subscribed to and retrieves any new articles or items for you. Some news readers are web based and can be accessed from any web browser, others are installed onto your own computer.
Once you have installed your news reader, it is very simple to start using our advert feeds. If you are particularly interested in adverts from a specific town, simply use the view adverts option on the navigation bar at the top of the page and type in the toen name you want. When the advert page is displayed, you will see an RSS logo at the top right of the page. This logo is a link to the correct feed for this town. To set up the feed in your news reader, follow the instructions provided with the software, sometimes it is as simple as dragging the icon onto the newsreader page.
